03 · Questions

Asked often.

How far is it from New Orleans?

About 25 minutes southwest of New Orleans airport. Take I-310 south to US-90, head west about 8 miles and cross the Des Allemands bridge.

Do I need a reservation?

Not strictly, but they are highly recommended. Call (504) 810-4756 between 8am and 7pm.

Will we see alligators?

In the warm months, very likely. Alligators are seasonal and go quiet in the cold months. Year round you can see some of the roughly 300 bird species that live here, plus nutria, turtles, snakes, raccoons, deer and waterfowl.

What happens if it storms?

Weather cancellations cost nothing and get rescheduled.

Can I cancel?

Free up to 24 hours before your tour. After that it is $20 per person.

Is it accessible?

Wheelchairs can be accommodated with notice. Mention any injuries when you book so the captain can keep off bumpy water; serious spinal injuries may be turned away for safety.

Can we bring food and drinks?

Yes, as long as they are contained. No glass on the boat.
